The Outlawz TT: Where In The World

Where In The World!

Hello everyone!   The Outlawz has a BIG and I mean BIG celebration going on commemorating 200 Members!   Isn't that fantastic!     That is a real accomplishment.   Colleen Holmes created this wonderful site and her hard work has paid off with mega loyal followers!

Our Twisted Thursday Party Challenge has the theme "Where In The World"   Make a card that represents the part of the world you are from.

Our wonderful sponsors for  this party challenge are:

 $5.00 Gift Certificate

 4 digi Images each

$20.00 Gift Certificate

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

For my card I a couple wonderful stamps from Stamp TV at GKD.   Theresa Momber was the illustrator of the stamps.  She is one of my FAVORITE!

The Red, White and Blue in the card represents the United States.
The mixed media if embossing, Copic markers and Tim Holtz Distress Markers represent America's diversity.  The mountains and lake represent the California Sierra Foothills and the frog represents Calaveras County, where the famous frog-jumping contest was memoralized from Mark Twaine's short story, " Ther Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County " that was written in 1865.  We celebrate this special day annually.

Happy crafting...we are looking forward to seeing your Patriotic cards, representing where you live.

  8. Thank you for your wonderful comments! For Anonymous - You asked a question. I was unable to leave a comment on your web site - I do not see your comment on this page but I will answer here.
I used the blogger (under the template section of blogger) I selected the layout I wanted and then I went to this site
    http://shabbyblogs.com/
and selected a free background. Since my writing column is wide, I selected the widest background.
You then apply it to the upper left gadget.
You may have to go back into the template and adjust the width slightly. Good Luck. If I can be of help, email be at mariegamber@comcast.net
